Twin Soul Series Twin Souls: A Misunderstood Reality Channeled from Zeb by Melvyn Caryl [Updated: 03/07/07]

This article was adapted from a session channeled on 8-31-03 Mel (M):> Dearest Zeb, we need your help in understanding the difference between a Twin Soul relationship and a Soul Mate relationship. Will you please explain? Zeb (Z):> I was wondering when you would finally get around to asking. M:> Well, you have explained this to Caryl and me, but others would appreciate getting the 'skinny' straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Z:> Horse's mouth? M:> Figuratively speaking. No disrespect intended. Z:> (Grin) None taken. I would be pleased to expand on the subject of Twin Souls and Soul Mates for almost everyone confuses the two. But before we begin, a word about channeling is in order. Some believe Channeling is a psychic process--that one must be a psychic, a saint, or a holy person in order to hear God. I tell you this: Anyone can accomplish this spiritual process if they will allow themselves. You need no intermediary to hear God. I Am God, and I speak, but I have [never spoken in your languages (past or present).] Your religions tell you that I do in order that they may control my words, and thereby my messages to you. God has never spoken with words. We speak through inspiration directly to the knowing center of our [Speaker's] mind, and [the Speaker gives meaning to what we telepathically convey into your language] to be shared among you. That is the way it has always been. As is usually the case, some meaning will be lost in the process. If that happens here, it will be purely unintentional. [Melvyn Caryl has] nothing to gain from altering my words. [They can and do update what I have said from time-to-time with my full authority.] What they learn from Zarna and me, they pass on freely with love. Any mistakes in translation will be put right in following messages. M:> Thank you for explaining that. Z:> You are quite welcome. And now to our subject: "Twin Souls: A Misunderstood Reality." My intent will be to bring to light what most of you already know deep in your hearts but may not have easy access to the memory.
Look
closely at the Yin & Yang symbol. We will use this symbol to explain
the splitting of the soul into Twins before the incarnation
process begins. Visualize the light and dark halves separating
[and reforming into complete circles (souls.)]
Within the masculine light half you have a dark dot—the seed, or
memory, of the missing feminine half. Within the feminine dark half
you have a light dot—the seed, or memory, of the missing masculine
half. [Both keep seeking, but why
can't they find each other?
After separating,
the two Twins are as unlike as two souls can be. One is almost totally dark and the other is almost
totally light. They repel each other. The light half with only
a dark dot represents a primitive Alpha male heterosexual that we
will call a "Hetero-g male"—meaning an opposite-gender
oriented male. This is more fully explained at the beginning
of "The Twin Soul’s Development," but
we will explain it
briefly here. He is
"all male" and seeks a woman
who is all female. Sounds pretty
good, huh? But wait... The Hetero-g male is domineering, possessive, with little creative passion or compassion. He is not sensitive or understanding to the feelings of LOVE. To him Love is SEX and he desires plenty of it in variety. The Hetero-g female is passive, undemanding, compliant, loving and compassionate who wants to raise a family and have comfort and security provided for her. To get this she complies with the will of the Hetero-g male. But do they really have anything in common? No. And sadly such [marriages] don't usually last. Why? Because of the Universal Law of Attraction. "Like attracts Like," and these two are as opposite as the two halves of the Yin Yang symbol.
M:>
So what happens?
This is the experience by which both grow. It doesn’t happen in
one lifetime. It takes many lifetimes to get right. That
which is lacking is not in the other person, it is within the self. This change happens slowly over time.
M:> In other words, reincarnation?
Z:>
Yes, reincarnation.
M:> But what if one doesn't believe in reincarnation?
Z:> It doesn't matter what you believe or don't believe. While
you do create your own personal reality through your [choices,] you
do so under the universal law of ultimate reality. Those
things you cannot change are, Reincarnation, Twin Souls, and the
fact that We are ALL God. M:> So if the Twin Soul is the perfect mate, what about Soul Mates? Can we seek and find one of these?
Z:>
Yes, you can seek and find one or more of these. While the Twin Soul
is the only one who is the other half of your soul, there are two other kinds of
very desirable soul mates---Near Twins and Companion Souls.
M:>
And we can pair-bond with any of those Near Twins of the opposite
gender? Z:> You can pair-bond with any of those of either gender. Your religions have taught you that relationships must be among two persons of the opposite gender, but that was strictly for procreation. Two or more of the same gender can and do unite in spiritual bonds that transcend many conventional relationships.
M:>
I suppose you will touch on that subject in another article?
Z:> I will, for it and other topics now are rather controversial in
your cultures. There are other Soul Mates, such as,
Companion Souls that form
wonderful bonds.
M:> Is that why Caryl in some cases prefers to use the term, "Companion Mates"
instead of Soul
Mates? Z:> Exactly! All spiritual unions of divine love are Soul Mate relationships. That is why there is so much confusion over what is, and what is not a Twin Soul, and why some think they can seek and find their Twin Soul. You can't. When you are ready, when the bi-gender balance or Bi-G Balance is achieved, then the mate to your soul—your other half--will be drawn to you. If incarnated at the same time and you both have charted reunion in this life your Twin Soul will always be of the opposite gender, whereas Near Twins and Companion Souls can be of either gender. Your Twin is the ultimate in Soul Mate connections but life between you two will never be "perfect." Remember, Twins approach everything from opposite directions. There are bound to be clashes. Next to the Twin Soul in compatibility is the "Near Twin," followed by the "Companion Soul."
M:>
Aren't we getting into the same semantics mess with the term, "Companion Souls?"
All are potential “companions.” Can't there still be some
confusion over the term?
Z:>
Yes, there could be, but it is the term we have chosen to use. We
will define it so there will be no confusion.
M:> Are there other kinds of relationships besides those listed
above?
Z:> Yes there are, but they are not spiritual in nature. Hetero-g
relationships are often based on sexual attraction or need rather
than Love.
Contrary to what most will tell you, there is nothing wrong
with sexual attraction. It is a divine process. It is by that
attraction one is lead to desire the ultimate experience with your Twin Soul. There is nothing
"sinful" about it. However, this desire alone is not enough to
build a relationship upon. You need more soul substance in
common.
Twin
Souls who are also part of a Quadrant (as you, Melvyn Caryl
are) will continue to form many non-physical relationships with
others. But
that is enough for now. More will follow in the Twin Soul Series
explaining divine relationships -- the structure of the soul and
the hierarchy of God, which are one in the same. And we will
discuss such things as how to recognize your Twin Soul. It doesn't
always happen with "love at first sight." One will generally
recognize the other before both realize their connection. Caryl was the one who awakened you, opened
your eyes to see what was obvious with the heart. Some believe that finding their Twin Soul is some kind of "singles dating" thing. Nothing could be farther from the truth. When the twins are ready, forces of the universe will draw them together and nothing can prevent it. You may not even be "single and looking."
Neither Melvyn or Caryl were searching for their perfect mate when
Zarna and I drew them together. Mel and his wife had been married
twenty-five years, and Caryl and her husband over 30 years. They
were both a little old for "the dating game." Besides half a
continent separated them, but when the forces of the universe
say, “MOVE,” you move.
Physically
incarnated and reunited Twin Souls are still rare. It is a major event
of cosmic significance and it is always for some larger spiritual
purpose when it happens. It is not to satisfy two lonely hearts. Such a
major cosmic event is coming in the next ten years (2012,) and Melvyn
Caryl’s mission is to be heralds to that event--to prepare
the way. Others are doing the same, but these two are our messengers
and your friends.
