Melvyn's experience as told by Zeb.

The Near Death Experience (NDE)

Many authoritative books on this subject have been written in your recent time because people are no longer afraid to talk about this strange phenomena. For the few of those who have not been exposed to these wonderful personal experiences, a Near Death Experience is where termination of life and separation has occurred before your charted time. It is an unplanned event that cuts short your life and perhaps the greater part of your personal goals or mission in life. Such was the case with Melvyn's NDE.

He died on an operating table during an eight hour surgery and a portal opened just beyond the doctors and nurses in the operating theater who were working feverishly on his body to get his heart beating again.

But Melvyn was tired and deeply wounded by this life and wanted to go Home. Before he could joyously leap though the portal, he saw, Zarna, his spiritual mother--Mother God who stepped through the swirling mass of vapors and stopped him. This time the confusion was not regarding what had just happened--it was all too familiar, for he had been through transition hundreds of times before. He was tired and wanted to go Home from his final physical incarnation cycle, but Zarna prevented him.

She explained there was much he didn't remember from before and that there were far greater things that he and his Twin had to accomplish. At the time he didn't know who this was, yet he had just met her. Melvyn wept in Zarna's arms until he was convinced to return to his body--which he did.

Now this memory was not recalled by him immediately but came three years later when he witnessed the transition of his dear friend, Boo. Mel saw Zarna come for Boo in the hospital emergency room as the doctors and nurses worked on him to try and save his life. Zarna carried his comatose soul through the portal to the Otherside and Melvyn could hear the sounds of the Angels singing and felt a longing, "Why not me?"

It was then that Zarna revealed to him his own separation and attempted transition and all the pieces fell together--he now knew his Twin (Caryl), he knew his mission was to be our Speaker, and he knew who we were, Zeb and Zarna, his spiritual parents--which he didn't know three years before at the time of his NDE. Everything has its time and place. This was the time for Melvyn's knowing and it was revealed.

It may be worth mentioning another thing about how what one "sees" or remembers in a visual from when they have a NDE or Astral Travel or Out of Body Experience (OBE). Recently there was some confusion between one of our seekers and our Speaker, Caryl regarding how (in what form) she witnesses spiritual beings--she sees pure energy, not a representation of physical form--which differs from the way Melvyn and the seeker witness such.

Viewing the Spirit World

There are two ways one may witness or view events of the spirit or soul. They can see things in the form as they truly are--pure energy--or in a more recognizable form familiar to your planet and dimension. Ask a dozen people what an angel looks like and most will tell you a woman in a long white robe with large white wings and a halo.

First off, angels are neither men nor women--they are genderless created spirit-beings that do not have wings or halos. If they are to take physical form they will appear in a manner fitting to your time and world, not like "Jesus without a beard." (See, The Truth About Angels for more on this subject.)

Yet this is not the true form of an angel. This is the form they choose to take if they appear to you, or the way you envision them. Their true form is brilliant white light which forms a protective shell around the human aura. Have you not heard of "Guardian Angels?" You all have them, and they do not hover around you, they encompass you in their protective shield as part of your aura.

So which form is correct? Does an angel have white wings and a halo with a long white robe, or are they blazing white light? Both. Is the soul the spirit image of the body it has just left, or a glowing ball of blue and white lights all in a cluster? Both.

How you see spirits and angels will be determined by your soul development--the more mature the soul, the less need there is for familiar illusions. And what you believe will often shape the visual presentation of an encounter with beings from this side--the spirit realm.

You have a visual image of your loved ones who have crossed over before you and long to meet with them again when you come Home. You will, even if that soul has taken other body and lives another physical life--your memory of a past loved one will keep intact that spirit image for as long as you remember them. You will be rejoined with them in the afterlife or you can call them to you in your current physical life.

Cremation

Fire is one of the four basic elements that make up your world. The remains or shell you leave behind once the soul has departed can rejoin the elements or matter of your world slowly though decay or rapidly though cremation.

This is not a concern of God for as your spiritual parents, that which we have created lives forever--that is the true you. What your physical parents created--the body--which is but one of hundreds of shells you have worn and discarded when you were through with it, returns to the elements.

It is far better for those of your time to rely on cremation and return the ashes to your world than it is to build great mausoleums to honor one of your many bodies. Seek rather than building monuments to the memory of the past, to build memories and joy of the future in the living soul and spirit.

You need not use up your limited space with earthly remains of what has been--the beauty of life lives in the spirit not in the decay and corruption of the physical body. Be at peace. Neither you nor your loved ones will care how your spent remains are disposed of. Your spirit retains the peak of perfection of your current life and your soul contains all of Who You Are.

Conclusion

What we have presented here is but a brief summary that we may choose to expand on in future Messages and Articles in your near future, depending on "Inquiring Minds."

On final observation we wish to add as a side note with regard to the human preoccupation with preserving the shell of those who formerly existed in your dimension. The body is a shell. When it is no longer needed, it is discarded to return to the elements from which it came. It is no longer the loved one that it once carried and is no longer needed for any purpose, yet humans attempt to preserve this as a representation of the eternal. They embalm and entomb the matter in ways that it cannot be returned to earth to be recycled.

Remember this--the funeral is only for the living. In most cases the soul and spirit of the individual has departed earthly constraints and is free. It should be a time for rejoicing and remembrances, not a time for sadness. This is another of your life's illusions.

The one who has used the body has not left you and is as close as your next thought. You don't have to wait until your passing to be with them , nor to verify if any of what we have told you in this message is true. You can verify it anytime through the process of Astral Travel (OBE) for nightly in your dreams you return Home. Why do you think sleep is so restorative to your kind and others? You return to the land of your creation--the Astral, where love combines with thought and creates the miracle of both your "Dream World" and your "Reality." Do not be confused into believing that life's illusion is reality and mistake the reality of your "Dream World" as an illusion.
