Caryl was recently asked this question to find a way to make a spouse accept and understand that the coming of one's Twin Soul does not necessarily mean the end of the marriage relationship. This is no easy question to answer, especially considering the fact that most of the Western World considers marriage an exclusive contract between two people. This is why she asked me (Mel) to take it to ZZ and see what I could get. As always when discussing Divine Love Zarna steps in and takes the lead. This time there is no exception.

Zeb and Zarna always seem to know just what we are going to ask for even before we ask it. They have been "dropping hints" in their private messages to our Quadrant (Caryl and I and our respective spouses) that we are soon to be an "example." Wow! After Zarna's message that follows this challenge has finally sank in. It's hard being a "living example" of anything good and worthy, but try doing so with four separate minds—two of which are Twin Souls and the other two are their Companion Mates. But we will give it our best all in the name of Love.

In another way, this makes perfect sense. Our lives as "Melvyn Caryl" are not so unique. A good number of our visitors and Spiritual Family members have met their Twin Soul but are married to other individuals. After all, one does not sit around waiting for the arrival of their Twin Soul. You might not have been even looking for another partner at the time of the Twin's arrival. We certainly were not.

As ZZ has told us countless times--when you both are ready (Bi-gender Balanced) then one will be brought to the other by the Universal Law of Attraction (like attracts like). They have also told us that the powers of Heaven or Earth cannot prevent it once the process is set into motion.

From what Zarna has given us it is easy to understand why this task is so difficult; yet, it is not surprising either. We've received this before in different ways from ZZ. The difficulty comes from the common concept of marriage that is accepted by many cultures around the world and the common misconception that one's Twin Soul is the "Perfect Love" and therefore would be the one to have a "perfect marriage" with. Who wouldn't be challenged with such a prospect if you were not the one who was the Twin Soul? I will let Zarna give her message now:

1. Zarna:> Dearest Daughter, Caryl, Heart of Our Hearts, Speaker of Our Truth--you were asked this question by one of Our Family Members for a reason. Many are in this same situation and the Twin Soul reunion is not one that should threaten any relationship where genuine Love already exists.

Many Cultures, Many Ways :

2. As you already know, there are no simple guidelines that will apply to all who come to "The Voice." Some will come from cultures that are very open when it comes to the marriage relationship. Unfortunately, in general, those of America , Europe and many others are not. Neither do they embrace the Twin Soul concept, nor the things we bring regarding the Goddess culture.

3. Do we propose some counter-cultural revolution? No. But in lands where "religious freedom" is allowed, meaning you have the right to choose your belief in God (and Goddess), you have the right to walk a path in life that is quietly and privately different from that followed by the masses.

4. So, before we can explain anything about Twin Souls to others (especially those who follow a different path) you must know what you are up against.

"Traditional Marriages:"

5. Many "traditional marriages" work because the two people who are involved make it work through Love and Freedom given to each other. This has nothing to do with luck or fortune. It has to do with attitude--the attitude that the other is not a "possession." But even still, the "traditional marriage" is a myth. There is no such thing. Allow me to give you a brief overview of what "traditional marriage" has been like in Europe and America in little over a century of your time.

6. Hardly less than a century has passed when most marriages were arranged for political or financial power or gain. What do you think a bride's "dowry" was all about? Love had nothing to do with marriage in most cases and the woman often had little or no say in who her chosen partner would be. That was determined by her father.

7. Marriage was a contractual agreement made with vows and oaths (supposedly before God) and there was no way out short of the death of one of the spouses (think of Henry VIII). "The Church" still doesn't recognize divorce even though the divorce rate of "traditional marriages" is above 50% in many countries. So, in general, is the "traditional marriage" concept working? No.

8. It is not working in your time because many of these early cultural attitudes have been brought forward and made part of the agreement and Love and Freedom has taken a backseat to "obligations." Contrary to all the excitement the new bride experiences on her Wedding Day--marriage is a male dominated affair imposed on the female to assure his offspring is actually his. What mother doesn't know her own children? The same cannot be said of the father.

9. Marriages were always assumed to be exclusive of others--especially for the women, but such "rules" were often ignored by the men. So contractual arrangements were made for the husbands security that the bride: "forsakes all others," when men still gave only lip-service to such vows.

The Twin Soul Path:

10. Anyone choosing to accept the Twin Soul path dares to challenge established religious and cultural practices--simply because most modern cultures do not recognize a "Mother God" nor the freedom she brings.

11. This is why anyone choosing the "Twin Soul Path" should know what a Twin Soul relationship is. Almost daily our Speakers, Melvyn Caryl, hear from someone who comes to "The Voice" proclaiming their Twin Soul relationship, but from what they say it is evident that they have very little true knowledge of what a Twin Soul relationship is—even after reading the Articles and Messages.

12. How is this? It is because all of you have the right to "take what you can and leave the rest" from our teachings—unless you are representing us officially as ZZ teachers in a seminar or retreat. The difficulty begins when one doesn't know what part to "take" and what part to "leave" to keep and still retain a true understanding. So many still don't "get it" even after reading what is presented on "The Voice."

13. These words, for the most part, come not from Melvyn Caryl, but from Us, Zeb and Zarna. Yet, these words are not being given for the first time. In many cases, they were given to others countless generations ago and have been changed over time. So we have those who come to "The Voice" often telling Us, Twin Soul Gods, or Melvyn Caryl, about Twin Souls.

14. If you are concerned that you may be one of these, let me tell you these are most often those who believe their Twin Soul is their “One Perfect Love," and to be joined with or wedded to their Twin Soul there would be no need for others.

15. A loving Companion Mate or Near Twin would be considered "second best." If they can't live with their Twin Soul they would rather live the rest of their life alone.

16. These concepts are simply not true and are not part of the Twin Soul reality. The idea of Twin Souls as the “Perfect Love,” is often "sold" by dating services hoping to extract money from lonely hopefuls. We have nothing to sell. What is missing from these concepts is the truth that a Twin Soul relationship is not about just two people, and that the Twin Soul concept is a God-centered spiritual belief. All souls have always been Twin Souls.

17. Without the spirituality, what most associate with a "Twin Soul relationship" is little more than an "earth shaking," "toe curling" sexual experience. There is nothing "wrong" with this but one should not confuse this as a Twin Soul relationship. You can have such with a Companion Mate or Near Twin.

18. Why should we not allow such an "innocent" illusion to exist about Twin Soul relationships? Because if you are with your real Twin Soul and you have your first real heated argument with him or her you will be so disillusioned by the world's theories of "One Perfect Love" your illusions will burst like so many soap bubbles. You will convince yourself that he or she isn't your Twin Soul because he or she has a different opinion and voices it strongly.

19. So, by knowing what a true Twin Soul relationship is and the purpose it serves, you will be in a better position to explain it to your spouse who may feel threatened by the introduction of "the other man," or "the other woman."

What is Twin Soul Relationships and Twin Soul Spirituality?

20. Twin Soul Spirituality is a God-centered spiritual belief where one loves another unconditionally--love that is without judgment, expectation, possessiveness (or exclusion). As an example of God's Divine Love it excludes no one, not even your spouse.

21. Twin Souls are drawn together by forces beyond their conscious choice or control when they are within their final incarnation cycle and they are spiritually mature (having accomplished all their life-learning experiences over many lifetimes). Twin Souls are always brought together for a purpose of spiritual service to the whole of humankind. It is not about just two lovers. It is about their Mission . [role] The spouse can be a part of this along with their mate's Twin Soul and many others.

22. No one is excluded from the Twin Soul relationship--not the spouse, Near Twin(s) or others--except by those others own choosing. There is room for everyone within God's Love and as Twin Souls you are representatives of that Divine Love (not your own exclusive love for each other).

23. A Twin Soul is seldom one's chosen wife or husband for these arrangements are made by you and represent a physical union. The Twin Soul union is one of a spiritual and physical nature, and is brought to you as a result of your soul development.

24. A Twin Soul relationship is focused more on making the world a better place to live rather than on family building. The earthly marriage is focused on building a home and family often with children. The roles of Twin Souls are not in conflict with this. Acceptance and openness is the key for harmony and success between the two roles.

25. Nor does this mean that in order to participate in another's Twin Soul Mission or carry out your own that you must be reunited with your Twin Soul. It might be through such a Mission that you are to meet your Twin Soul.

What is the Zeb & Zarna Twin Soul Mission?

26. To bring together our Spiritual Family from all over the world through "The Voice" for a healing of hearts and minds, plus the environment in which you live. You can do this from the comfort and security of your own home in whatever place you live by just joining us in spirit. We do not bring a central commune or cult that governs your every thought and life. We bring you the freedom to choose and live as you desire for as long as it serves you.

27. Part of our Mission work is to heal your planet, some call her "Mother Earth," or "Gaia." We do not bring a " New World Order," nor intend to disrupt your form of government. Your political activists do enough of that. Our Spiritual mission is much older than all of your World Governments put together.

28. Our "work" is to first elevate your consciousness to the point that each of our Family can become part of the healing energy that will be focused on your planet and its environment to restore your ecology and provide evidence to those who return in the Second Coming that your kind has matured enough to be accepted into the greater universal society of humankind. Your physical "parents" return, but they are not your Gods. We are.

29. The "work" of healing Gaia will begin soon. Part of this has already begun with the presentation of these Articles over "The Voice." This will be followed in a year or so of your time with Melvyn Caryl's spiritual books which will be expansions of what we have presented in these Articles with our help. From this will come both personal and spiritual family group instruction presented through seminars, retreats and individual counseling for those who wish to elevate themselves to a level of greater service.

30. This is the true meaning of what united Twin Souls represent. If a spouse is threatened by all this, then that spouse refuses you the opportunity to be what you have intended for yourself. It my be that your marriage relationship has run its course long before your twin soul was brought to you and no longer serves you as originally intended. These considerations should always be made with the children (when involved) in mind for they are your future. Yet, it must not be overlooked that one partner dominating the other is not a healthy family environment for children to grow within.

31. If your decision is made in favor of your children and not the Twin Soul all is not lost. This may sound strange coming from a Twin Soul Goddess but your life does not end just because you can not be with your Twin Soul. You will be united with that Twin Soul after you leave physical life and go on to higher and greater things.

32. You can still join your Near Twin brothers and sisters and focus your loving attention on healing your environment and each other. One has come who will focus your healing energies where needed. This entity and others come from a long line of ancient healers. They will be your guides through "The Voice." Unite, and by example spread the loving message found on "The Voice."
