Spirit and Soul
Channeled
by
Melvyn Caryl

1. Zeb:> You asked what is the Soul and Spirit--desiring to understand the difference between the two and the confusions that your language creates for you. Your
language refers to "The
Spirit World" as where we are (when we are more than "spirits,") and "Spiritual" when you study the things of God. Who wouldn't be confused when it comes to what
is "spirit" and what is "soul?" Maybe
We can help you some within your language.
2. To recall, words are but symbols for the meaning you assign to them. We have nothing to do with this choice, but to
communicate with others you
must translate concepts into your words that don't often
fit neatly. The reason words fail you is that for essentially
"One
People"
(humanity) you have many languages—word
symbols you often freely exchange from one language to another
to cover meaning more accurately. Then when you consider your
languages will gradually change over a very short period of
celestial time, adds
to your confusion. For example, the things
that Zarna is bringing from Mel's memory regarding The SAM
Meditation and the associated Power Symbols not only come from a
long dead human language but also from a period of time when
your thinking processes were entirely different.
3. This is why, as we and others have said, We do
not speak in words, but you must and do. Not all of you have mastered the telepathic knowing
transfer that lies beneath your languages and even when you do, you mistrust your feelings
and rely on unreliable words.
4.
This said, "What is the
Soul?" and "How
does this differ from the
Spirit?" Are they but two words for the same thing? In one sense they are.
They are both energy. Not the opposite sides
of the same waveform of energy but a reflection of the other in a
set, specific order of influences:
SOUL
--
BODY -- SPIRIT
5. The seen and the unseen, in that the body and spirit are normally the
seen and the soul, the
unseen. But which one
is the image and which one is the reflection? Once you begin
to understand the difference between the
seen and the
unseen
you can begin to
understand the soul and spirit.
6. As We said, both the soul and spirit are energy, yet the soul
forms, fashions and envelops the body giving it many unique and
recognizable features from your Composite Soul (all the "yous"
you have ever been). The spirit is a reflection of the body in each given lifetime, but like the Composite Soul creates as many
bodies as it needs, the body creates as many spirit images
of itself as it needs--one representing each major period of
that life and one overall image that represents your lifetime this time.
7.
Take two full length mirrors facing each other and step in between
them. What do you see? "Why, myself!" you will answer. But do
you see your true self, or merely a reflection of yourself? If you answer it is a reflection of yourself,
you are only partially right. It
is a reflection of your body which is a
reflection of yourself. Look over the shoulder of your reflection and what do you
see? More "you's" lined up in a row leading out into infinity--thousands of yous. Your
body is in the middle of two opposing full length mirrors. Now
look over your shoulder behind you and what do you see? Thousands of yous
looking over their shoulders back at you. Think of those as your individual incarnational selves--or past lives you have
lived. The only difference which this mirror cannot show you (for it is not a "Magic
Mirror") is that all those other yous will look different and
will sometimes be of a different sex, but they are all
the yous of your Composite Soul.
8.
This progression is important in another way--the soul is Who You Are both cumulatively and individually. Who You Are now is composed of Who You Were before in a long chain of
individual personalities and lives.
9.
We can use these mirrors to further describe the soul and spirit if you can imagine another pair of full length mirrors to each side.
Now you are surrounded by mirrors front and back, side to
side--what do you see? Again look to your right and you will
see an infinite line of reflections, look to your left
and you see the same things--these
will represent soul fragments and spirit fragments which I will discuss later.
10. We, as God,
create the initial spark of energy that becomes your Composite Soul.
Yet you are a part of an even greater body of energy, for
simplicity sake let us call that God. In that form you saw Your
Plan (God's Plan) before you chose to
become an individual part of that plan. All are a part of that plan and all have a central purpose or
Mission
, otherwise you would still be a
part of the Original energy that is without form or substance. Even We are a part of that Plan.
11. You are a physical part of that Plan, meaning you are an individualized part of your Composite Soul--complete and unique. You have a unique
reflection that changes hourly, daily, monthly and yearly as you progress towards physical maturity and beyond. These are all
reflections of you.
12. The little girl in a swimsuit on
the beach with a giant plastic beach ball almost as large as she
at the age of three; the happy young face of the high school and
then college graduate--so full of hope and promise, to the happy
face of the young bride taking
her first bite of her wedding cake in her bridal gown. But
which one is you? They all are.
All of these and more are and were images of you.
13. All of these images are images
of your Spirit. Look closely at
the smile on the little toddler's face and compare it to the smile on the young graduate's face or the young bride's. Is there not a similarity you can see? All before it
shares a common bond, the same
can be said of your soul. Now
if asked "Which
one would you like to be again?" You might point
to the young college graduate dressed in her black gown
with a blue cape as she receives her Master of Arts in
Humanities. That
might be your overall spirit representation of you at your finest
hour.
14. These images are like the photo album
of your life--each chosen at will
to represent a stage of your life. The bride's photo is
followed by a Mother then a Grandmother. Why would you choose the Mother's image over the Grandmothers--much less the college
graduate's?
15. When you have transitioned to the Otherside and one of your children
joins you--would you wear the image of the college graduate? No. That was before they were born. They wouldn't recognize you. How about if one of
your grandchildren joins you, would you wear the image of the Mother? No. That too would be before they (the grandchildren) were born. They wouldn't recognize you. When these images
are no longer needed they blend
back into the one you like the most--the college graduate's.
16. If asked,
"Why is the college graduate's image so popular?" You
might say, "That is before the marriage failed and left me
with two children to raise on my own.' You each have a reason for
choosing your favorite image.
17. The same
applies to the images of the past lives you have led. These would be your various
incarnational aspects of your soul, with one big exception ... they are all different but similar.
18. Say there are three hundred
lined up behind each other to greet you.
They are all you. Each one has a different range of spirit images
to choose from and soul images behind them and in front of
them.
19. As you look
down the line, you think," Oh, wow! one of them is a giant hunk of a man with a bright helmet and a broad
hairy chest. What's he
doing in your line with
his long sword? But wait, you look closer at his face and
notice a familiar turn of the
lips, a twinkle in his eyes that seems familiar. Then it
dawns on you, "Oh
My God! That's me, too!"
and answer, "Yes,
it is."
20. Suddenly
one comes forward from somewhere down the line--a beautiful young woman with open arms and radiating a familiar
smile to welcome you home with
love. You know intuitively that she is also you, but
something about her also tells you that she is the
overall soul image of all your lives. She is a reflection of
all you have ever been.
21. Another big difference between the soul and the
spirit is that the soul is bound to part of your Composite Soul,
which is bound to your
Immediate Twin Soul Family, which is a part of your Mission
Group, which is part of your Soul Group, which is part of
your Soul Parents (Us or others) which are part of those above
them, and others above them until you reach the Consortium of
the All Thing (The One Big God).
The
Spirit is Always
Free
22.The Soul is always a part of the hierarchy of God. The Spirit is
part of the hierarchy of you in this life and is free to
travel and experience. In this way
your Spirit serves you as you
serve the Hierarchy of God--experiencing life. The Spirit is free to travel to other dimensions, other universes,
other places within your universe or into the past or futures.
When the Soul departs the body--the
body is dead. Not so with the Spirit. The Spirit is always free to travel at night in your dreams, Astral Travel or Remote Viewing.
23. The Spirit is joined to the physical
body
by the mythical
"Silver Cord."
I call it "mythical"
for if you believe in it you will see it, but it isn't real. Can
you imagine if it were real how entangled with millions of
other cords on your planet alone it
could get? The Silver Cord is your mythical connection with your
body and your body is
connected to the soul.
24. But where is the Soul? The Soul encompasses your body and protects it from the outside. It is what many of you call the Human aura. It is also that which Guardian Angels attach
themselves to.
25. The Spirit is within your
body--which is another reason that most
refer to the world within the
body as "The
Spiritual World."
Our world, The Otherside, does
not lie "out
there" but within. You
are the connection or channel between the two dimensions.
26. When the soul departs, the body
dies and the cord is broken.
The
seen
(spirit) and the
unseen (soul) return for the final transition
of physical/spiritual life--The Joining and
The
Marriage
of
Lights.
(Not necessarily at the
same time)
27. Twin Souls can
sometimes
be
joined
in the physical (it is still
a rare event). The
Marriage of Lights always occurs on this side
of the great divide with the physical dimension and the Marriage of Lights is often witnessed in the physical realm by
some cosmic event.
28. The Soul has its unfinished journey "To
God You Return,"
ascension to ever higher levels of God and the roles chosen even
before the beginning. The Spirit is
released to go where she wants to go. Remember, regardless of your
physical gender, your Spirit is a she. It is just the way it is.
29. The Spirit may have its own
mission if
it chooses
when it is free. Recently Our Speaker Melvyn was
discussing spirit
energy with Caryl in connection with the
article he was writing, but
even they confused spirit energy with negative energy in one case. That
case being
the difference between the
negative energy that
inhabits old battle grounds or other places of human tragedy and
the spirit energy that inhabits Native American burial
grounds. The latter is neither negative
energy
nor evil
spirits.
They are the spirits of the People who were united
with the land. Few have been since their part
of it. Others have tried to possess the land. The Native American
was part of it. It was this that alerted Caryl that Melvyn held some
residual knowing that had never been expressed in one of Our
Messages before.
30.
She considered, rightly so, that these beings were humans just
like us. They had souls that went to the Otherside, but the big difference she was not aware of is that many had spirits
united with the land--especially
in their ancient burial mounds and grounds.
In the article Mel
was working on that is not yet published,
"This
Old House,"
the example was used in the original draft as to what might happen if you were to build your home on top of
one of these ceremonial grounds unknowingly. They were not Evil
Spirits,
but could get rather negative if their peace was
disturbed. The Spirit itself is neither negative nor evil.
31.
Let us repeat this again: There
are no Evil Spirits! If someone tells
you differently, it is they who
are confused. Why? Spirits are
reflections of your body which
is formed and created by your soul
(God). Nothing created by God is ever "evil."
However that which
is created by God can commit evil, therefore creating negative energy. Negative energy is not spirit but it has a life
of its own and you (humankind) are its Creators…. Where the Spirit is created by the body, this does not
mean that you created
either the body… nor spirits.
32. We are dealing with more than semantics here. In
this, your language is not
lacking. It is fairly accurate. When you create Evil or Negative energy--that is not the same as Creating the Spirit. There are
some things that takes a higher level of God than the Incarnated
Soul--that individuated part of your Composite Soul--to create.
33. Now this should cover most of the questions distinguishing the soul
and spirit, but there are always more questions created by
inquisitive minds that we will welcome the chance to answer, for
by answering your questions you grow in understanding. You can
come to us or you can "go within" to find us and ask your
own questions. You will receive your answer.
§
The
Spirit
is for experiencing.
It has the ability to be projected
into other times, other places, other worlds and other dimensions
to experience and bring back what it learns. You
can access this knowledge if you know how. Go there and see things through your spirit eyes, hear with their ears, feel with
their feelings if you desire and know how. The only danger involved
is if you don't know how to shield yourself from potential traumatic
experiences.
§
The
Soul is for living first and experiencing second. It becomes the
depository of all your knowledge and experience.
