The Storms of Our Lives
Written
During Hurricane Rita
by
Melvyn of Melvyn Caryl
The storm that rages around me reminds
me of the storms we create to
add drama to our often boring lives. These may be stormy relationships,
stormy internal dispositions, or simply--hurricanes.
But
Wait A Minute! I Don't Create Hurricanes!
Ah, but you sometimes do. You may not consciously be aware
of having done so and you don't create them by yourself, but you sometimes
do create natural disasters.
Now that I have your attention, I'll first explain that I'm not
going crazy (or at least I don't think I am). I have it on good authority
(ZZ) that we
do create these disasters as part of our mass consciousness and for
a purpose.
We also create the aftermath as tests of our own resolve and
determination to rebuild. Those of you, who like me, live along the Hurricane
Alley of the
Gulf
Coast
know
what I mean. Others who live in typhoon alleys or earthquake prone areas
may identify with the truth in these words. Humankind
Always Stands Tallest in The Face of Adversity.
After a big storm, people seem to be different. I'm not
talking about the hopelessness of being in shock at what has just
happened. But afterwards, when
one has to decide whether to rebuild, and ponders the reasons--punished by
God? --the explanation put
forth by many of our nations Christian evangelists—or Mother Nature. We
can assure you God, at all its levels does not ever punish by any means,
and that certainly was not the cause of Rita.
The
Good Side?
I've been in more than a few storms (hurricanes, typhoons and
blizzards) in my long life and I am always amazed at the common bond
strangers suddenly find with each other afterwards.
They survived.
Recently I saw a tee shirt on one of the Hurricane Katrina
evacuees that said I
Survived Hurricane Katrina. He carried all his
worldly possessions in two small bags, but he survived. That reminded me
of another storm in
New England
almost 30 years ago where survivors wore
tee shirts saying I
Survived the Blizzard of '78. In
a few days there may be more tee shirts made saying I
Survived Hurricane Rita. Such are the tests that draw us
together.
I remember a day or two after The
Blizzard of '78, before the streets were opened to the general public, people
walked down these freshly snowplowed emergency lanes, smiling greetings to
total strangers and hoping to find someone to tell their storm
story to. For those of you, like me, who weren't from
Boston
you'll
know how uncommon this is for
New England
.
But people wanted--no needed to talk to
someone as a confirmation of their shared experience. “Was
it real what we just went through?” they would say, almost as if to
confirm to themselves that they had survived the experience.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to come together like that, without all the
natural disasters of life--enjoying the common bond that we innately feel
for others--regardless of our spiritual belief, our religion, race, caste
or geographic region?
Well there is such a place.
No, it isn't not Shangrala or Xanadu. Nor is it the Land
of Oz. You have found it right here in cyberspace and it's called “The
Voice.”
Ah! But that is only a website, you might say.
True, it is a website, but add the magic of Love and you would be
surprised what it becomes. Read the Question

Answer entries added
nearly each month. For the most part, these are not scholarly discussions
of spirituality. They are personal stories of survival.
People asking for help and understanding and looking for others with which to share their story. Often they
share them with Caryl--she is excellent at this, isn't she? Tell her.
Some of you may be surprised to hear from others half-way around the
world, or from Down Under. The ZZ Mission is truly International and
through the Power
of Love it is growing.
You don’t need me to tell you this. You wouldn't be here in the land
of cyberspace reading this article if it did not feel good. You would not
be searching if you weren’t looking for something that made sense. You
wouldn't have read this far if what we have to say on this site did not
ring true to your spirit. We
are all One.
So where to from here? Like all survivors of the storms of life we want to
share with others who care enough to listen and suspend disbelief for just
a moment to respond. There is far more to the ZZ Mission than just two
aging channelers. There are loving people coming from all over--The
Netherlands,
India
,
Germany
,
Australia
,
Canada
and
the
United
States
plus visitors from every other country in the world. These are people of
different cultures, different religions, different spiritual connection
and different backgrounds sharing what they find in common through our
ZZGroup and this website.
What do we do besides talk to each other? Lots. We have a Healing Team
that is gaining a reputation for success in helping others with its
coordinated in-the-moment healing approach and the unique pyramidal
healing focus. We also use this divine healing energy during our Healing
of Humanity sessions, and will again use this during the December Goddess
Festival for the Earth Healing Project.
We do not protest anything, but rather prefer to use positive action by
using Divine energy to counteract negative mass consciousness.
Read about it on the healing page—Zarna’s Article, The Earth
Healing Message.
We encourage those from other beliefs, like Druids, Native Americans
and Aborigines with their special interests and talents to heal the
environment to join us from their home computers—for their beliefs in
many ways are parallel to ours, not divergent.
There are no membership fees, no applications to fill out, nothing to join. You have already joined us simply by logging on to our
website. If you don't like what you find--you can unjoin just as easily and go with our love and
blessings.
If you like what you find from a casual browse of our growing website,
come back again. Let us put you on our Announcement list. We add new stuff to our website at least monthly and sometimes twice a month.
If you want to help with the Healing Team or the Earth Healing
Project—volunteer and ask to be put on the ZZGroup—here is the email
address to our ...
Healing Director.
Do I sound like a proud grandfather? You had better believe I am, and
it is all because of so many who have come to us and given their love and
time to help others. It makes me proud to be a part of it—to serve with
them. We are all survivors of
the storms of life whether they be called Hurricane
Katrina, Hurricane Rita, or simply…
