Dear Natalie:

Thank you so much for your question. As I said in the introduction to this page, we all learn from the interests of others.

It is timely that you asked this question now for I am at this moment preparing a ZZ Messages series for the website entitled, "What Happens When We Die," which very much speaks to some of your concerns, but we will abbreviate here in answer to your question.   

You can take comfort in the certainty that you were not in any way the cause of your friend's death. If your intent is motivated by love and your purpose is to heal, you will not send negative energy, regardless of your personal emotional state. We all have "issues" and down days. We are human and are here to experience. 

If you haven't already, I would suggest  you read the -- Twin Soul: Charting The Incarnation Experience -- Part I & Part II. And of course, the new article when I get it posted--watch for the announcement in Kellie's Korner from the Library of Articles.

Each person charts exactly the time and condition of their death. The best we can do for a person who is ill or injured, is to give that person our love and best healing effort. If that person is charted to cross and the illness or accident is the method chosen for their passing, the healing energy that we send is received as comfort and love. We never chart suffering. Often the healing effort for the dying loved-one reduces their pain.  So you were not ineffective. Chances are, now that he has the clarity of consciousness from the otherside, he knows that you were with him in those final hours. You can communicate with him now if you wish simply by speaking to him (verbally or telepathically) and he will know your thoughts.

As long as your intent is love, there is no wrong way to send healing energy. There are however, ways to increase one's healing abilities. We are all healers, but some of us are more naturally adept than others. This is the purpose for the Healing Articles--to give some basic instruction for those who never realized that everyone  has the power to help heal another.  

In the past I have been involved in several quite miraculous healings--some long before I was consciously aware of ZZ. At that time, I had no training, only the desire to help another person. I followed my instincts about what I should do. I know everyone has the power to tap into Divine Assistance and will be guided to do what is necessary. I always call on ZZ for their help when projecting healing energy--with remote or hands-on healing.
